Investigation
Ghosts of Georgia Team arrived by 8:30 pm to meet The Central Georgia Paranormal Society who had already arrived and set up for the investigation.

Team 1 – Christine, with The Central Georgia Paranormal Society Team 1 – first sweep

1. 9:20 pm – Attic – Normal EMF and Temp readings
a. Debbie got chills twice, felt someone touch her leg, and felt something tug her ponytail.
b. Christine and Cindy saw a white silhouette across from them.
c. All four – Christine, Kim, Cindy and Debbie saw a shadow moving in the area as the white silhouette.
d. All four – heard a female’s voice several different times.
e. All four – heard a male’s voice once.
f. All four – heard a strange screaming noise, but it may have been an animal.
10:30 pm – End of sweep

Team 2 – Ed, Beth and Larry – first sweep

1. 10:49 pm – Basement – Normal EMF and Temp readings
a. EVP session was interrupted when Beth noticed tons of millipedes crawling on the ground, and toward the team. EVP resumed when the team realized the millipedes location and to stay away from them.
2. Attic – Normal EMF and Temp readings, but warmer in the attic
a. All three – heard voices
b. All three – heard a sound like a marble roll across floor 3 times, and some other strange sounds that could not be described from the storage area of the roof line.
c. Beth had a personal experience in the attic – She had a vision of an Indian headdress on the fireplace rock after hearing the strange noises.
3. Main floor – Ed, Beth and Larry combined with The Central Georgia Paranormal Society Team 2 – Normal EMF and Temp readings
a. All team members from both teams – heard footsteps walking around them, on other floors and rooms. Sounds came from attic area above the teams, and then down on the main floor all around us. Footsteps sounded as if they walked between the team members then out of the room. About a minute later you could hear the footsteps in the adjacent room but were not as loud.

Findings:

First we would like to thank The Central Georgia Paranormal Society for inviting us to participate in this investigation, they are a great group of people! The Rock House was a very interesting place to investigate not only from the paranormal side but from the historical side as well!

We did not record any unusually readings with our thermometers or any unusually EMF readings but did record numerous EVP’s with some confirming some our personal experiences including recording footsteps that were audibly being heard by one team. Other experiences include hearing unexplained sounds in the attic that sounded like a marble or a ball rolling on the floor, disembodied voices, some or them recorded. Some team members saw a white silhouette then later a dark shadow in the same area as the silhouette.

This is a very paranormally active location with many experiences verifying some of the paranormal stories that have been told over the years, along with other experiences from previous investigations at the location. We would like to do a follow up investigation at the location to see if we can communicate more with the entities that are there along with gathering more information.
