Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report

 

On April 16th, 2011 GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Woodville GA. The resident has lived in the home since May of 2010. Claims of activity include: Seeing apparitions, smoke like figures, Doors and cabinet doors moving or being slammed, knocking on walls and doors, being touched, disembodied voices and objects being moved or missing. There is a rather large cemetery located on the adjacent property in the back yard. Ghosts of Georgia Investigators did a follow-up investigation May 29th, 2011.

Condition of the Home:

Home is older but in great condition. The home is in full working order and currently lived in.  The home was once used as a Home Economics school room, but is now owned by the church and rented out to residence. The school, church and graveyard are all on the same block of the home.

 

Equipment used by Investigators:

 

Cameras: Two Canon Rebel digital cameras and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.

EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII and K-II Meter.

Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC. 

Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.

 

April, Investigation – 7:35 pm – Base Readings:

Sunroom – Temp 70.8-69.8 – 0 EMF readings

Sunroom Hallway – Temp 70.2 – 3.3 and K2 spike by the plugs in wall

Boy’s room – Temp 70.1 – .1-.3 (mostly 0) EMF readings

Sunroom Hall Bathroom – Temp 70.5 – .1 – K2 spike by sink and wall

Girl’s room – Temp 68.1– 70 – K2 spike by plug – 0 EMF readings “in corner Beth and Kat heard “mom”

Living Room – Temp 70.8–71 – K2 by the TV and .1 rest of the room

Master Bedroom – Temp 71.5–72.8 – O EMF and a couple of random K2 spikes

Back Entry – Temp 70.8–71.4 – 0 EMF readings

Kitchen – Temp 74.8 – .4 EMF readings and refrigerator very high – too high to read on the meter.

 

Before starting the investigation we noticed the KII has been going off at base. It was flashing all the way to the 5th light almost constant, then would stop all the sudden at 0, but would start up again randomly.  We tested several areas of the base area and there does not seem to be a cause or consistent reading with the KII.

 

April, Team 1 – Ed and Kat 9:00 pm

 

Cemetery:

  1. Front of cemetery – 9:40 pm Start EVP – 9:44 End EVP
  2. Back of Cemetery – 9:56 pm Start EVP – 10:01 End EVP
    1. During EVP and after, team had random KII hits. No pattern or communication with KII meter.
  3. 10:15 pm – End of Cemetery sweep with Team 1

 

April, Team 2 – Larry and Christine 9:00 pm

 

Inside the home:

  1. Sunroom – 9:25 pm Start EVP – 9:41 End EVP
  2. Boy’s room – 9:48 pm Start EVP –
  3. Team heard loud sound, then loud hiss like sound and about 10 minutes later heard a 2nd
  4. 10:10 pm Girl’s room – team had a KII session (seemed like communication) during the EVP – 10:23 pm End EVP
  5. During the EVP/KII session – team seemed to have gotten the age of a spirit between 8-11 yr old boy. This was done through a series of questions with the KII

Cemetery:

  1. 10:40 pm – 11:40 pm – No reports sent back to base

 

April, Team 3 Beth and Kat – 10:30 pm

 

Inside the home:

  1. Investigated Living room – Strong KII hits, but debunked. Flashlight and Iphone (when sending or receiving, even if phone is on silent) make KII react.
  2. Investigated Living room and Kitchen – Both team members hearing something like a repeated whistle, constant patterns – described as Alien like sounds, very loud and strange. Team members thought it could be the refrigerator, but when they listened carefully it did not sound like it was.  After asking the residents later, the residents of the home said it was the refrigerator.  They have heard it before.
  3. Living room – EVP session – KII spikes – seemed to have communicated through questions 1 answer, otherwise random. Kat got a cold air feeling while asking questions.
  4. Sunroom – EVP session – EMF reading 5.0, could not find source, and quickly went back down. Nothing after that one hit.
  5. Boy’s room – EVP session – room seems quiet
  6. Girl’s room – EVP session – room seemed quiet – One KII response to “Do you like to play in here?”
  7. Investigated Kitchen to LR – 11:40 pm – Lots of Random KII hits again, then stopped. No source found.

 

April, Team 4 – Christine and Ed 12:00 am

 

Inside the home:

  1. Girls bedroom – 12:19 am Start EVP – 12:28 am End EVP
  2. Office – 12:33 am Start EVP – 12:39 am End EVP
  3. Sunroom – 12:46 am Start EVP – 12:56 am End EVP
    1. During EVP session flashlight came on and KII at the same time. Christine asked for the flashlight to turn off, it did and then turned on again. Christine had some KII communication as well.
  4. Kitchen – 1:08 am Start EVP – 1:20 am End EVP
    1. During EVP session – Christine sat in chair twice and felt very strong chills

 

April, Team 5 – Kat and resident guests 12:10 am

 

Cemetery:

  1. During investigation Kat and guests had temperature change between 43 – 48 degrees (temp dropped outside by this time). They had a couple of small KII hits and EMF readings between .3 -.4 a few times. Returned to base by 12:50 am.

 

April, Team 6 – Christine, Kat and resident guests 3:00 am

 

Inside the home:

  1. Investigated – Front of the home in yard, a bare patch the residents spoke about earlier having some paranormal experiences. No findings
  2. Investigated – surrounding yard outside – No findings

May, Team – Larry, Pat and Beth

After doing the reveal from the April investigation with the clients, a small follow-up investigation was done. The team went back to the cemetery first – per the request of the clients. We got several random KII hits on both meters being used at the same time , but everything seemed to be passing by us in the cemetery. The team went back in the home to investigate next and got more random KII hits, but could not make any intelligent communication/responses with the KII. The spikes were random and did not seem to follow a pattern. In Beth’s personal (not professional) opinion; it is almost like the home and graveyard is one big super highway for spirits to walk in and out.

April and May Investigation Findings:

Ghosts of Georgia Paranormal Investigations

 

April – Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:

Ed:
While out in front of the house examining the bare spot I heard what sounded like the storm door closing but upon examination the door was already closed and didn’t make the sound. A little later I heard a metallic noise like something hitting the gutter but nothing was near the gutters to cause the noise.

Larry:

I had no personal experiences in the house, but was with Ed outside and also heard what sounded like the storm door closing and the metallic sound also.

Christine:

My personal experiences consisted of: during investigation on first sweep, Larry and I had good interaction with the K-II meter in the girl’s room.  During my initial walk through, while in the boys’s room, I heard a disembodied voice of a child tell me hello.  While on investigation with Ed, we had some interaction with the K-II in the girl’s room, and while in the sunroom, the flashlight came on twice, it did go off upon being told to turn the flashlight off.

Kat:

I heard a child’s voice when Beth and I were investigating the girl’s room. We both heard a child’s voice saying something that could be “Mom?” 🙂

Beth:

As I first walked into the home, I did not feel anything in the Master Bedroom, but I noticed residual energy in the living room. I felt lots of people, youth in and out of the room. The girl’s bedroom on right of the living room, I heard a child call out “mom” in my right ear as I was looking out the window.  It was on the wall between the office and the bedroom.  Back in the sunroom I noticed lots of energy at the back door.  It seems to be used as an energy path going from the back steps to the living room.  I can feel the energy path.  Took a walk in the cemetery and was telepathically called to the right back side of the cemetery.  I felt child spirits and adult males.  In particular I also felt one “children” grave in the right back that called to me.  The name “Ed” came to me in the back sunroom as well.  Felt some gathering energy toward the house before the graveyard on the right as well.  I love the energy in this home!
