On March 10, 2012, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residents in Murrayville, GA. The activity reported at the home is as follows: Claims of shadow figures, disembodied voices, objects moving, heard a squeaky door close when no on was up, white and dark mist moving in house.

Condition of the Home:
The house is in good condition, structurally sound, no drafts coming in from outside through windows and doors, utilities up to date and in good working order. We did notice that you could hear dogs barking from outside and heard the sound of passing cars.

Cameras: Two Canon Rebel digital cameras and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.
EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII and K-II Meter.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.

End Investigation
Findings:
GOGPI was called to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, 0.1 – 0.2 miligause, except around the appliances where they were higher, as expected. During the investigation our K-II meter lights lit all the way to the red light indication a strong EMF field was present. This happen three times, back to back, in the bedroom. Prior to the K-II going off there was no EMF detected. This also happened later in the investigation while the K-II was sitting on the baby’s swing, here it just went off twice, back to back, and we could not reproduce it going off. In both locations the K-II had been set down and was undisturbed.
We did record numerous EVP’s throughout the house but found nothing in our pictures. We haven’t found anything unusually in the video either, at this time we still have a little video left to review.
With the stories of activity by the client and her husband, the EVP’s we recorded, and our personal experiences we feel like there is activity in the home. With only one investigation we cannot say the home is haunted but feel a follow up investigation is recommended to see if we can gather more evidence and see if we could duplicate some of the claims and our experiences.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:
Gretchen:
I heard different bangs and knocks throughout the night, there was a dog that barked somewhere in the neighborhood who was audible off and on all night, the fridge is also sound producing and the toilet seemed to fill an awful lot during the night. I also thought I heard a something dragging in the kitchen, Christine also heard this. I pushed the toddler walker along the floor and told Christine I thought that was it. I went into the living room, and Christine scooted the walker and it was the same exact noise. When we originally heard it we were all in the living room on the couch.
In the parents bedroom there were K2 hits, also on the child’s rocker in the living room, and then again in the kitchen, and the doorway to the children’s bedroom. The most impressive K2 was on the bed in the master bedroom. I did not visually see anything the whole night. I have no photo evidence of anything. In the parents room during the first EVP session about halfway through the session I became very sad, very emotionally sad where I fought back tears. Upon leaving the room, that feeling was gone and I never was emotional the rest of the night.
I did hear two voices. One was a males voice, and one was a female’s voice. Both times I was in the kitchen. One time Ed heard the female voice with me and the voice came from the bedroom area I was conducting the session, and the other time Christine heard the male voice…I thought it was an exhale in the kitchen between us.
Christine:
Anyways, my personal experiences are exactly as Gretchen said. I did see what I thought was a shadow person in the living room. I got flicked on my left ear in the master bedroom.
Ed:
My personal experiences consisted of hearing a disembodied voice, sounded like a female, Gretchen heard it at the same time, while taking pictures in the living room I saw half of a black shadow in human form. All of us were sitting at the time and it couldn’t have been our shadows, I also took numerous pictures afterwards to see if I could create the shadow again but was unsuccessful. While standing in the doorway of the kids room I felt a rush of cool air come from the room into the kitchen, we couldn’t find out what had caused it. I also heard some taps and knocks but can’t say they were paranormal.
