Condition of the Building:

The building was built in the late 60’s to early 70’s. At the time of the investigation the house was undergoing some major repair and upgrade work, including the roof being re-shingled, painting, appliances being replaced, etc. The structure was sound but there were a few places where gaps were in the floor, near the wall, where you could see into the basement.

Equipment used by Investigators:

Cameras: One Canon Rebel digital camera and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.
EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, and K-II Meter.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.

4. 9:24 pm – Bedroom 2 – EMF spike – 0.0 – 0.3 really fast
a. 9:27 pm – Start EVP session – 9:35 pm End EVP session.
b. During EVP session the team had another EMF spike to 0.3 really fast. And Pat had the color red pop in her mind. Beth mentioned to her that the house had red lamps in the garage, red glass in the kitchen, and red broken glass in the living room.
5. 9:39 pm – Bedroom 1 – Team had a EMF spike to 2.1 while standing in the middle of the room. The average EMF is 0.0 and the average 50 degrees.
a. 9:39 pm – Start EVP session – 9:47 pm – End EVP session
b. During EVP session – 9:44 pm – Pat saw a flash of movement like a shadow in the master bedroom. 9:45 pm – Both Pat and Larry heard a brief burst of music, like the sound of a camera turning on or electronic.
6. 9:41 pm – Base team saw light in window of master bedroom – Cam 4
7. 9:50 pm – Front Living room – Pat and Larry heard a sound like heat kicking on, but there is no heat on in the home. 52 average degrees and 0 EMF.

Findings:

This was a very enjoyable investigation and the client was wonderful! We were there to try and find the causes of what the client and others had experienced in the building.

During the investigation we took temperature readings and EMF reading throughout the house. The temperature readings remained constant and normal for conditions except for in the dining room around the wall that separated the hall bath from the dining room the temperature seemed to drop several degrees at times then go back up within a few minutes. Ed experienced a colder feeling on the right side of neck that his left, Beth felt the area and confirmed it to be cooler, it soon dissipated and he never felt it again. The change in temperature on the wall could have been caused by air coming up the stairs from the basement but we cold not come to a definitely reason why the temperature change. The EMF readings were constant as well except for an area on the interior dining room wall near the outside dining room wall, in the corner. We later discovered that this is where the main electrical cable came into the building and the electrical panel was directly below the area. This was the probable cause of the higher EMF readings.

During the investigation and during the video review we noticed how car lights would come into the house and would create a moving shadow effect on the walls. There were no window covering during the investigation allowing the lights to shine brighter into the house but if the window covering we thin and the way the house is situated near the road and angle of the road it would be possible for the same effect to happen. This may account for some of the shadow sightings.

We also recorded a number of EVP’s in the house as well as outside.
All investigators had experienced unexplainable occurrences while investigating, see the report below.

With the clients stories, our personal experiences, along with the EVP’s we captured we feel that there is paranormal activity in the house. We cannot say that the house is haunted by just this investigation and recommend a follow-up investigation to try and find causes as to what we experienced as well as the clients claims.

Ghosts of Georgia Paranormal Investigations

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:

Beth:
Most of the night during the investigation, I was concentrating on being the observer/investigator, and look for evidence in the home of anything paranormal. Any signs at all – sounds, footsteps, talking, lights etc… Unfortunately, I did not have any personal experiences to note.
As a psychic I had a couple of experiences. I cannot say it was paranormal but it was clairaudient – Whenever I went into the middle bedroom, a very popular Pink Floyd song would pop into my mind. I even found myself singing it. “Hello, is anyone out there”, was the line I kept finding myself singing. This happened on at least 3 different occasions, and caught me by surprise each time. My other psychic experience was at the very end of our first sweep. 12:10 am – Ed asked me to concentrate on the stairs. I raised my channel as I have been taught and Immediately I had a feeling of domestic violence again and a vision of a young man named Corey. The vision was set in what looked like the late 70’s – he had a small build and was wearing dirty jeans, and a jean jacket with black hair. He was violent, and had chased a young woman with long golden blond hair down the stairs. She tripped on her long 70’s style skirt, and she was barefoot. She had been stabbed in the back with a large kitchen knife. There was lots of blood. I am not sure, but I am pretty sure he killed her.
Larry:

I heard what I describe as an electronic tone(also caught on voice recorder),in bedroom one and also in the basement later that evening. Also outside heard some rustling in the back yard, not sure what it was. Also in the hall way sounded like someone stepped on the central air vent cover, when me and Ed looked down neither one of us had stepped on it.

Pat:

The only personal experience that I had at Kennesaw was in the back bedroom that was across the hall from the master. While Larry and I were doing an EVP in that room I kept getting the word “red” in my head. Initially, I thought perhaps it was a nickname but noticed later in the investigation all the broken red glass in the family room and the red lamps downstairs. I think maybe this family really liked red.

Ed:
While investigating the living room I saw a shadow walk in front of the wall, walking from the front door towards the dining area. Nothing was picked up on video. Felt an unexplained cold chill on the right side of my neck, Beth felt the area and said it felt cooler that the left side. While walking in the Hall with Larry I heard what sounded like something being dragged across a vent cover that was laying in the hallway, I asked Larry if he walked across and it and he said he walked around it and I was several inches a way from it. While in the room in the basement I heard what sounded like a faint musical tone but didn’t sound like a musical instrument. While outside it sounded like footsteps in the leaves, when we asked it to come closer the sound started again. Not sure what it was but could have been an animal.
