Findings:

We were called in to investigate the above mentioned claims of paranormal activity. We took base readings of both the temperature and EMF. They were within normal ranges except for the EMF which was high in the places you would expect it to be, around appliances, wiring, etc.

We did not capture any video evidence on our infrared system or hand held cameras nor did we capture anything in our pictures. We did capture some audio EVP’s.

The claims of activity seemed to mainly be around the lady of the home and one of her daughters. The clients husband did have one experience prior to our investigation. We that in mind we split into two investigative teams, one with the two women investigators and the other with the men investigators. While the men’s team did not experience anything the women’s team did which was in line with the client’s claims. Both lady investigators felt very uneasy in the home.

We also saw a raccoon climbing up the side of the porch and on the porch which may explain some of the noises heard by the client. The house is surrounded by numerous trees with limbs touching the home. The limbs could beat up against the house with any type of breeze or wind causing some of the noises too.

With just the EVP’s and a couple personal experiences we cannot say that the home is haunted. With the clients stories of activity and what we captured on the investigation we feel there is activity in the home. We feel that the situation be monitored and the clients counseled on how to handle any activity that may arise in the future and reinvestigate if the need arises.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:

Christine:

My personal experiences consist of while on the initial walk through of the residence, I had a strange burning, stinging sensation to my left foot, mainly to the big toe. At this time I was picking up on a male energy that did not seem to happy to have us there. I was in the basement at this time sitting on the leather couch. I also picked up on witchery/voodoo for whatever reason while sitting there. While investigating the basement, Laurie and I heard a noise from the top of the stairs that sounded like a loud foot stomp or a loud bang. We radioed base to see if it were either of them walking around, they said they had walked around the front of the house, so Larry rewalked it to see if he could duplicate what we heard, but we decided it was definitely not them. While investigating the living room, Laurie and I started to hear some interesting noises, almost like footsteps. Then the noises got real loud and there was a lot of loud ruckus kind of noises going on. We radioed base and told them what we we were experiencing and we were going to investigate the noise. We discovered it was the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was on and making the noise. None of us can rest assured that the ceiling fan hadn’t been on all along, but we are stated that we believed it was not. I also felt liked I was being followed throughout the entire house. While in the girl’s room, I could feel my camera being tapped on, as well as I could hear it. I asked Laurie if she could hear it, and she said that she could. Not minutes after that something tugged my pant leg. In the first boy’s room directly across from the girl’s room, we had K-II hits. It was interesting because I was very pulled to that room, so that is where Laurie and I went next, and the K-II instantly started to respond. Once it quit and we couldn’t get anymore response we left that room. On our second go around, I was very pulled to investigate the upstairs hallway. Laurie and I both noticed that it was starting to feel very cold in there, so I radioed base and asked for someone to bring us a thermometer, as Larry was coming up the stairs to hand it to us the flashlight came on. We did have some response with the flashlight on command, but overall, was not consistent with questions, just command like turn the flashlight on, turn it off. Overall, I did not feel safe in that house at all, especially the master bedroom. As long as I was on the outside of the house, even on the porch, I felt fine. I went into this investigation with absolutely no information on anything. It wasn’t until Ed realized how hesitant that I was to go back into the house for a second sweep that information about the case was finally shared with me.

Laurie:

I had a general sense of uneasiness in the home and there were several instances where I had the sensation of my skin crawling on my neck. I can’t say that I’ve ever experienced that before. I also had a sudden onset of a headache when we did a second sweep of the green room/boys room which abated upon leaving that room. I was suddenly chilled at one point in the red room/second boy’s room. I also got the sensation of being followed from room to room while taking base readings and also felt like I was hearing indistinct “murmuring” as well.
