Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report
On January 22nd, 2011 GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Marietta, GA. The house is actually behind a local cemetery. Claims of activity in the home include: Disembodied voices, shadow figures, unexplained noises such as banging and footsteps, TV’s turn on and off, apparitions, locked doors opening, door being pulled out of client’s hand, and EVP’s recorded.

Condition of the Home:
The home is five years old and in good condition, structurally sound, outside windows and door are tight with no drafts, all utilities are in good condition.
Equipment used by Investigators:
Cameras: Two Canon Rebel digital cameras and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.
EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, and K-II Meter.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.

1. 8:0 pm – Master Bedroom – 66.7 degrees and .1-.2 EMF (several distractions while
investigating – cat broke a teapot as well)
a. 9:55 pm –EVP session – during EVP session – debunked high EMF readings on the bed. Large power supply under the bed. (more distractions, Beth knocked over a fish tank)

End of Investigation 1:30 am
Findings:
This is the follow up investigation and we were trying to duplicate our past results of the previous investigation and to continue to find answers as to what was causing the activity in the home or if the activity was caused by natural occurrences.
The house backed up to a local cemetery. One of our train of thoughts was if there was paranormal activity in the house could it be coming from the cemetery so we went outside to gather data in the back yard as well as the part of the cemetery right behind the house. Then took pictures and EMF readings as well as ran EVP sessions.
Inside the house the temperature remained constant we no exceptional changes. EMF reading’s were within normal range throughout the house except around electrical equipment where it was a little higher as expected. There was a unexplained spike in the daughters room, we could not find the cause and could not get it to repeat itself.
Some of the investigators had a few personal experiences that could not be explained. We also collect numerous EVP’s, inside and outside the house. A few pictures that were taken outside showed s couple light anomalies that were not seen by investigators. Nothing unusual showed up it the video this time.
With the client’s claims, some of the investigators experience along with some of the data we collected we feel that the home does have paranormal activity which appears to be intelligent in nature. It does not appear to be harmful. With the collection of EVP’s, personal experiences, and the clients claims, from this and the last investigation, we feel like the home is haunted.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:
Pat: There were two possible personal experiences that I had. One was in the boy’s room. I heard what sounded like a loud breath or sign in the corner behind Ed. A few minutes later we heard the same type of sound but definately coming from the turltle cage. It really sounded like it did not come from that cage the first time but the noise was very similiar.
The second experience was in daughters bedroom were Ed and I both thought we heard a voice. He thought from the hallway but I think that it was likely that it came from the yard when the owner was calling his dog.
Larry:
I had only one personal experience, while I was taping the camera wires to the wall close to the front door, I thought some one walked by the door blocking the light coming in from the outside porch light, but no one was there.
Ed: When we first arrived and I was talking to the client in the family room it felt as if some one was playing with my hair. I shook my head back and forth to see if I could recreate the same feeling but could not. Went back talking with the client and it happened again, could not find a cause. While in the boys room I thought I heard a breath sound, sounded like someone blowing, from behind me and to my left in the corner of the room, it may have been the turtle in there but it didn’t sound like it was coming from it’s direction.
While in the daughters room I thought I heard a voice coming from the hallway at the same time Pat heard a voice coming from the window area. Client was outside calling his dog, it may have been him but can’t confirm.
Beth: Unfortunately I did not really have any personal experiences on this second trip. I had of couple of things happen that were a little odd, but I cannot say they are paranormal. While investigating in the master bedroom the cats were very friendly, and following us around. The owner says one of the cats is very shy normally, so it was unusual to her. One of the cats went in the bathroom and pushed over a glass teapot. It broke in the sink and on the floor. Then I accidently knocked into a fish tank spilling water everywhere. The fish actually ended up on the bed, but we cleaned it up. We had several KII hits that were explained by the large set of cords and wires under the bed. So, overall – while investigating the master bedroom, I would say there were several distractions.
Then in the cemetery, I had a really fast psychic vision appear in my mind’s eye of a young black woman in a white sundress. She was barefoot and peering around the trees to spy on us. She had long curly black hair. It was summer time in my vision, with green grass under her feet. Her name was Rhonda, and the number 80s came to mind.
