On August 28th, 2010 GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Rossville, GA. Claims of activity including: Doors slamming, Resident claims she was trapped in room, Resident claims she was scratched on face and slapped by spirits, Residents can hear walking back and forth upstairs, Child claims spirits told him that entire family had to get out of the house. Child frequently asks mom to make lunch for the spirits. Child can hear and talk to spirits and has been frightened by a spirit he calls the “Dark Man”.

Condition of the Building:
The home was a town home in a building with seven other town homes. The building is a standard townhouse building that was built approximately eight years ago with the very basic building materials and standard construction. Your able to hear sounds from the unit next door through the walls and can hear sounds from outside the building as well, i.e. dogs barking, cars, people shouting, etc. The doors and windows seemed solid whereas they didn’t rattle and no unusual drafts came from outside. The utilities were in good shape as well. The inside housekeeping appeared to need improvement.

EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, and K-II Meter.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.

Findings:
This was the second investigation at the location. We were called back to the location due to increase in activity and to try and find out what is occurring and why.
We monitored the temperature and EMF during the investigation to see if there was any fluctuations, the temperature remained normal and steady during the investigation, the EMF readings were high throughout the residence, averaging 1.5 miligause, a decrease from the previous investigation but still high. We checked the area for causes for the high EMF but were unable to find any. This may be a cause for some of the apprehension in the residence. Several investigators had experienced responses to their questions and their requests for responses. The most common experience was with the flashlight coming on and going off at the request of the investigator, others had knock sounds in response to the investigators request for the knock.
There appears to be some intelligent paranormal activity at the residence by the responses the investigators had and interaction with the family especially the client’s son. This is an on going investigation.

Pat:
As far as personal experiences go, I did see and agree with all of the strange flashlight occurrences that Christine commented on in her report.
Christina Swann:
Christine and I set up our equipment in the kitchen and as soon as we were seated with the K2 meter and the flashlight on the floor in front of us, she asked if anything was there with us. The flashlight turned on. We established that to communicate turning the flashlight on meant yes, and turning it off meant no. We also had a few slight hits on the K@ meter. We had a conversation for about 15-20 in the kitchen. Then we decided to move to the living room where Christine set the flashlight on a stack of DVDs so we could see the room to do readings. She got a cold chill and I mentioned that maybe we should turn the ac off to better feel cold spots. Before I finished this sentence the ac and the flashlight turned off at the exact same time. After this we once again communicated through the flashlight for about 20 minutes or so. We got no responses in the bedroom upstairs at this time. Once out in the car, Christine felt as though the mirror outside my side of the door was moving. Once this happened I took out my flashlight and asked that if something was there they were welcomed to communicate. The digital recorder in Christine’s lap turn on. A few minutes later, Christine got very hot and started to sweat. At the same moment my right arm got very cold with chills and all of the hair on the back of my neck stood up.
When I went back inside with Pat and Christine we were able to get more questions answered via flashlight in the upstairs bedroom. Supposedly this was a different “person” than we had spoken with before. Christine had been calling me Kelley for the last 30 minutes and just happened to ask this spirit if it’s name was Kelley. It answered yes. And was also able to tell us that it was female via yes and no questions. We asked questions for awhile and with the flashlight it answered that it was ready for us to leave. We also gathered from both spirits both upstairs and both downstairs that the family was not safe in the house. We asked this question several different ways at different times and always got the same response that they were not safe.
Ed:
While in the kitchen getting my equipment I felt a cobweb type feeling going across my face and left forearm. We did not find any cobwebs or other explanation for what I felt. While in the upstairs hallway I heard disembodied voices and what sounded like footsteps on the stairs. We were unable to find any explanation for the voices and footstep sounds.
Christine Riley:
1st Investigation (Team: Christine and Christina)
Kitchen:
The flashlight was lying on the kitchen floor at center point.
The nearest investigator was at least two feet from the flashlight.
K-II was lying on the kitchen floor near the doorway to the hallway downstairs.
The nearest investigator was at least four feet from the K-II.
Flashlight has no living human assistance given when turning on, off, dimming, or flickering.
1. Flashlight turns on (12:46.700 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirits if there are four spirits in the house.
2. Flashlight turns off (13:18.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit if they turned on the flashlight, and if they did could they turn it off. Christina then tells it to do it the same way as they turned it on, just turn it in the opposite way. Christine then tells the spirit that she knows it is difficult to get the energy up sometimes to turn the flashlight on and off, but to keep trying. Right then the flash starts to turn off, but hangs flickering. Christine tells the spirit thank you, but now turn it all the way off, and immediately at that point, the flashlight turns off.

What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit that turned on the flashlight if they are one of the four spirits in the house. Christine and Christina take this response as a yes answer.

What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit speaking to them with the flashlight if it is a good spirit to turn the flashlight off.

What is being said at the time: Christine tells the spirit speaking to them with the flashlight that the flickering of the light is confusing them and asks if using the K-II meter would be easier for them to answer our questions. Christina and Christine both tell the spirit how to use the K-II meter again. Christine, seeing that this is not working, takes control over which device will be used, and tells the spirit to turn the flashlight completely on with a steady light for a yes answer, and then she asks if they understand what she is asking, turn the flashlight on all the way

11. Loud tap on the glass shade of the hanging kitchen light. (18:54.500 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit speaking to them with the flashlight if it is answering the questions we are asking it in the way it wanted to answer them. Christine and Christina acknowledge the sound being a tap on the glass shade of the hanging kitchen light. Christine took heed to it and moved from underneath it. Christina thinks it may have been a bug hitting the glass, and Christine says that it may be, however, after hearing the noise again on the recorder, it seems to be a very strong tap and would have to be a pretty big bug to make it.
12. K-II Meter lights up to the third and fourth light. (24:04.500 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine and Christina are taking pictures and telling the spirits not to be afraid of the flash.

What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit speaking to them with the flashlight if they are still with them. .
14. Flashlight flickers on after being off with no interaction for nearly 9 minutes (29:00.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks first asks if the spirit that Blake refers to as the Dark man is present. She asks him if he means to scare Blake. The flashlight was lying on the kitchen floor by itself.

What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit speaking to them with the flashlight if it is angry or mad. She tells them that Katie wouldn’t have asked the group to come back if there wasn’t really something going on.

Living Room:
16. Flashlight turns off, then on, then off, then on (38:59.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine gets a chill and states that she hates it when she can’t tell if the chill she just got was due to paranormal or because it is so cold in the house because the air is on. Christina immediately responds with maybe they should turn the air off. Instantly, as she finishes the statement, the air goes off at the exact same time Christine’s flashlight turns off. Christine asks if that was you that just turned my flashlight off, turn it back on. Christine and Christina think that maybe it wasn’t a coincidence and when they state this, the flashlight turns back off. Then Christine says that she is going to take a picture and the flashlight turns on.
The flashlight was lying on top of the DVDs on the top shelf of the DVD rack closest to the couch.
The nearest investigator was at least two feet from the flashlight.
Flashlight has no living human assistance given when turning on, off, dimming, or flickering.
From this point forward in the living room:
The flashlight was lying on the living room floor by itself.

17. Flashlight turns off, as well as the K-II lit up (46:45.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine and Christina have just started their EVP session approximately 3 minutes before. Christine tells the spirits that they can use the flashlight again or the K-II to communicate as they have been doing.
18. Flashlight turns on (48:17.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit speaking to them with the flashlight if it comes in this room (living room) often.
19. Flashlight flickers (48:24.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).

Christine then asks if they want to use the flashlight, turn it on, instantaneously the flashlight turns on.

What is being said at the time: Christine tells the spirits speaking to them with the flashlight to show them no with the flashlight, there is no response, so Christine asks if they could please show them no, and instantaneously the flashlight turns off.

What is being said at the time: Christine says thank you after the flashlight turns off.
25. Flashlight flickers on and then turns completely on (51:10.500 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine tells the spirits speaking to them with the flashlight to show them yes with the flashlight, there is no response, so Christine says to them to show them yes with the flashlight, and instantaneously the flashlight flickers on. Christine says that she needs them to turn it all the way on, and the flashlight turns from flickering to completely on.

What is being said at the time: After Christine and Christina explain the thermometer and assure the spirit that the thermometer was not going to hurt them or make them go away Christine asks, “Are you still with us?” Instantaneously the flashlight came back on.

(Went ahead and asked this question again, just incase my chilled leg moment gave a false answer.)

What is being said at the time: Christine just finished asking if there is more than one good spirit upstairs, there is no response, so when Christine goes to ask if there are more than one bad spirit upstairs, before she can finish the question, the flashlight flickers. So she thinks she did not give enough time for the answer, so she asks again if there are more than one good spirit upstairs. She confirms that she understands what they are saying and then the thump.
38. Flashlight flickers then stays on (54:46.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit talking with them with the flashlight if the thumping noise we just heard was one of the spirits upstairs.

She tells them that she is not quite ready to go yet because she just has a few more questions. So she asks them to please stay and turn the flashlight back to all the way on again.

The flashlight was lying on Blake’s bedroom floor at center point.

K-II was lying on Blake’s bedroom floor in the doorway.
The nearest investigator was at least four feet from the K-II.

2nd Investigation (Team: Christine, Pat, and Christina)
Blake’s Room:
1. Flashlight turns on (38:25.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine keeps calling Christina, Kelly. She wants to know if the reason why she keeps doing that is because there is a Kelly with them. She asks the spirits if there is a Kelly with them, would she make her presence known by knocking on a wall, lighting up the K-II Meter, or turning the flashlight on. At this point Christine experiences a big chill.
2. Flashlight turns off (38:51.000 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit if indeed their name is Kelly, turn the flashlight off.
3. Flashlight turns on (39:14.500 min. approx. from start of investigation from the start of the investigation).
What is being said at the time: Christine asks the spirit to turn the flashlight on for yes answers and off for no answers. She asks if they understand what she is asking.
