Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report
On November 2, 2013, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Flower Branch, GA. The activity reported at the house is as follows: I see people in the house walking up and down the stairs and my doors open by themselves a lot, my alarm goes off on its own and I smell cigarette smoke at my door a lot, even though no one smokes. Voices, Odors, Shadows, Apparitions, Orbs, Cold/Hot spots, Noises such as rapping or knocking, Other Unusual Noises, Doors opening or closing on their own
Moving/Disappearing Objects.

Cameras: Two Canon Rebel digital cameras and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.
EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII and K-II Meter.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.
Condition of the home:
The house was a newer house and is structurally sound, utilities were in good working order. There were little to no draft coming from the outside doors and windows.

Findings:
GOGPI was called in to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.
We did not get anything in our pictures or video but we did record numerous EVP’s. Some of the investigators had some personal experiences, see below.
With the claims of activity, personal experiences by the investigators, the EVP’s that were recorded we feel like there is paranormal activity in the house. We cannot say the house is haunted without a follow up investigation to see if we can reproduce the claims of activity, personal experiences, and to gather more evidence of paranormal activity.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:
Beth:
Personal experiences – Smelled gas like from a gas stove as soon as I walked in the kitchen. Smelled it a few times. The client did say they do smell that and thinks it is from their floor heaters
Psychic Impressions – Felt history in the kitchen. I saw a gas stove instead of the electric one that is currently in the kitchen. Also saw lots of energy and activity in the kitchen. I saw and felt the energy of the client’s uncle that had passed away a few years earlier. I saw disease in the abdomen area affecting liver and other organs. Saw a history of alcohol and drug abuse. Felt the presence of a man smoking in the front small living room by the door. Felt like he smoked in this room all the time but was made to go outside to smoke at some point in time. He wasn’t very happy about having to go outside. He enjoyed hanging out in the front living room. The client seemed to think it was her uncle. I got a very strong sense that the uncle hangs around the home from time to time and is a bit of a jokester. Seems like he likes to keep the energy moving and his memory alive.
Gretchen:
K2 meter went off in the kitchen at the table. Heard my name called in the living room when I first came in.
Psychic experiences: On my way to the house I saw an old lady using a rifle as a walking stick, she was serious but kind, she did shake her finger at me. In the livingroom heard my name called by a female
In the livingroom picked up a garage with the walls covered in tools like a work shop…I was surprised and to see there was a room on the back porch that looked that way. In the kitchen I got the feeling that someone worked in a car plant…Ford? Chevy? GM. Felt the farm had chickens and the day was long from dark to dark…7 days a week. I feel there is a feeling there is someone who walks the upstairs hallway and comes down that set of stairs. I feel the great grandparents in the home. Not actively but impression.
In the downstairs bedroom it feels hard to breathe in there…I feel a male 40-50 years of age his death is self inflicted but not violent. I feel him strongly in the room. The laundry room…I do not like the energy…fear cage like I feel watched and perhaps like others feel this way…maybe others have been touched on the shoulder. I feel the client was raised here in the home. The kitchen I smell biscuits and country ham/ bacon…wishful thinking?
Larry:
While doing an EVP session in the kitchen I thought I heard a little child laugh. The other is after we packed up I was handing Gretchen her K-2 when it went off, it also went off after Gretchen grabbed it.
