Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report
On September 2, 2016, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence/condo in Brookhaven, GA. The activity reported at the residence is as follows: Lights flickering on and off, TV lights indicating it is on but the TV is not on, garage door opening on it’s own, door alarm beeps with no one opening the doors, evlevater moves on it’s own.

Nikon Coolpix L28 Full Spectrum digital camera, Bell & Howell IR Camcorder, JVC Everio Camcorder, T700 Full spectrum Camcorder, DDV-2200 full spectrum video camcorder, Insignia full spectrum HD camera/video recorder, MagiCam Mini Camcorder, FLIR Bcam w/SD, set of full spectrum POV glasses.

EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII, Mel-8704-R, several K-II Meters.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder, 2- Sony digital recorders, Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder, RCA digital recorder Olympus VN-4100PC. Spion Parabolic Dish.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer. Mel-8704R-KII has ambient thermometer included.
Other: 2-P-SB7 frequency sweep radio( spirit box ), P-SB11 spirit box, Spirit voice receiver, Boo Buddy Bear, Laser Grid, Compaq Presario Laptop, Dell Laptop, Ovilus M, Altec speaker, 2- Rem Pods, various flashlights.
Condition of the home:
Home was built in 2015 and is in excellent shape, structurally sound, no noise or drafts coming through the windows and doors, all utilities are in good working order.

Findings:
GOGPI was called in to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.
We did not get anything in our pictures. We did record several EVP’s. The investigators had some personal experiences, see below.
We did find a light switch that was extremely hot to touch even the screws for the switch plate. The EMF coming from the switch was extremely high, it ranged from 5.6 to 21.7 miligause, normal range is 0.0 to 0.2 miligause. We turned off the switch and it did cool down but it took a while. Notified the client not to use it until it was checked by an electrician.
We were asked to see if the client’s dad was in the home and to see if we could get some proof of him being there. We also wanted to see if someone else may have been there. We did not get any definite proof that the dad was there but we did get several EVP’s with both a male and female voice, indicating the possibility that two spirits were present. While conducting EVP session we used a flashlight and a K-II meter(EMF meter) to help the spirits communicate with us. On two sessions the flashlight came on. The first session was in the upstairs bedroom and the flashlight came on three times, once when the question was asked that if you are connected to the land turn the flashlight on. Although the flashlight came on several times it was not conclusive that we were actually communicating with a spirit since the flashlight did not respond in a quick fashion. The other session was in the living room the flashlight came on once when we asked for whoever was there to do something to let us know that they were there with us. The flashlight came on immediately and turned off in short fashion. Prior to the flashlight coming on the lights on the K-II lit up, it was sitting next to the flashlight. This was the only time it lit up during the investigation indicating that an EMF field passed by it, possibly spirit energy. This session was more indicative of a spirit presence.
With the claims of activity, personal experience by the investigator, the EVP’s that were recorded we feel like there is paranormal activity in the house. We cannot say the house is haunted without a follow up investigation to see if we can reproduce the claims of activity, personal experiences, and to gather more evidence of paranormal activity.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation
Ed:
While in the small bedroom upstairs I witnessed the flashlight come on three times while we were asking questions, but it was inconclusive as to it being actual communication. While in the living room doing an EVP session I heard a whistle noise but were unable to determine what it was. Also witness all the lights on the K-II meter (EMF meter) light up once, no one was near the K-II and it was the only time during the investigation that it lit up. Also witnessed the flashlight come on once and then turn off when the question was asked for whoever was there to do something to let us know that they were there with us.
Melissa:
When we walked into bedroom #1 (upstairs) I suddenly felt very lightheaded and a bit dizzy. The room had a heavy feeling and I continued to feel lightheaded until we left the room. I also witnessed the flashlight come on and go off several times in that same bedroom while asking questions. I witnessed the KII light up in the living room and the flashlight come on in the living room during the EVP session.
Beth:
Saw shadows moving along the wall with the TV and under the window during Living Room EVP session. Watched Bert’s Dog get spooked in the Living Room, run and jump into the camera/illuminator tripod, knocking it over and causing a huge crash. Witnessed KII Meter and flashlight come on once by itself during Living Room EVP session. Confirmed a VERY HOT light switch plate and screws for the Dining Room chandelier. May be a fire hazard.
Sensitive Report: Bert’s dad may indeed be trying to communicate with him about his mom, but I found no reason to believe the cause of activity is his dad. I feel it is related to the land the condos are built on and history. His dad’s presence may follow him to the new place because he is family, not because he is haunting him. Enjoy the love. 🙂
Ps. Great experience, great house, very clean and comfortable. No bad feelings in the home at all. My favorite part of the investigation was his dog! I LOVE this Dog! He is human! 🙂
