Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report
On August 24, 2013, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Arnoldsville GA. The activity reported at the house is as follows: 13 yr old daughter had been complaining that she hears screaming in her bedroom. She sees and hears people talking to her. It went from screams, to calling her name to now starting to speak to her. She says she sees different spirits everywhere she goes & can feel when they are around. Since she has told us, really strange & scary things have happened. The husband is waken up by the sound of someone pounding on the door. and saw the door handle wiggle, opens the door to find nothing. We have heard people walking around when nobody else is here but one person. A friend was taking a shower, nobody else was home, and he hears something and asks if anyone else was here. He gets a reply from a man saying yes. The list goes on.

EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII and K-II Meter.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer.
Condition of the home:
House was built in 1970. It is structurally sound, the utilities seem to be in working order. Little to no drafts coming from the exterior doors and windows but you can hear outside noise.

Findings:
GOGPI was called in to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected. Wall at kitchen/foyer outside closet were high (up to 25 miligause). We do not believe this is paranormal but probably cause by wiring in the wall.
We did not get anything in our pictures or video but we did record numerous EVP’s. Some of the investigators had some personal experiences, see below. Some of the experiences were the same as the claims.
With the claims of activity, personal experiences by the investigators, the EVP’s that were recorded we feel like there is paranormal activity in the house and in the yard. We do not feel that there is anything negative in the home. We cannot say the house is haunted without a follow up investigation to see if we can reproduce the claims of activity, personal experiences, and to gather more evidence of paranormal activity.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:
Ed:
While downstairs with Beth I heard what sounded like the toilet flush then a few seconds later it sounded like someone was using the sink but no one was using any water source. Also heard some knock noises coming from upstairs. While downstairs with Pam I heard a disembodied voice while in the bathroom. While investigating the living room the DVD player turned on and would run from 00:44 to 01:28 then return to 00:44 and start over again, client said this was not normal. Turned off DVD player and it never came on again.
Beth:
Personal Experience – While investigating, I heard lots of unexplained noises while downstairs with Ed. Sounds of water running, sounded like someone was taking a bubble bath in the bathroom upstairs, like someone was washing their hands, and footsteps. Ed and I confirmed that our person at base did not move at all during our investigation downstairs. Had some rather large temperature fluctuations in the oldest child’s bedroom on my Mel meter. Temperature would fluctuate at least 10 degrees several times. The temperature would raise almost 10 degrees in a very short period of time and go back to normal almost by command. Not sure if it was by command for sure, but it seemed like it. Could not duplicate this experience on the second sweep in her room. Did not have this type of temperature fluctuations in any other room. It remains unexplained.
Sensitive Impressions – I picked up on energy in the dining room area, the oldest child’s bedroom, the downstairs bedroom, and two areas outside – the tree closest to the house and an area between the dog pen and tree on the other side of the house. Also picked up on negative drug type activity in the downstairs bedroom. Actually the word “drug den” came to mind as a specific term that may have been used. Lots of negative choices in the downstairs bedroom area by previous home owners and acquaintances that may have been in the home with them. Seems like residual energy still exists. Discovered later in the investigation that all the areas of energy I could feel, were the same areas the oldest child has claims of activity. I tuned into the children’s energy being able to describe them before they came home with their dad. So, I felt like I was tuned into the home pretty well with this confirmation.
Pam:
My person experiences included the two items Ed discussed regarding the voice and VCR. While Beth and Ed were downstairs I heard something rubbing the paneling several times. It was not a scratching sound. It seemed to be more like rubbing and while I couldn’t pinpoint where it came from, it seemed to come from the hall/living room.
