Equipment used by Investigators:

Cameras: Two Canon Rebel digital cameras and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.

EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII and K-II Meter.

Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.

Condition of the school:

The school was built in 1932 and was closed when the new school was built. The building has been restored and is good shape. Door and windows are in good shape with little draft coming through, all utilities are in good working order and have been updated to code, the building is structurally sound. The floors are all wood and do creak when you walk across them as any old floor would. The building is being preserved as a historic site.

Findings:

GOGPI was called to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the school were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.

We did not capture anything on video or in our pictures but did record numerous EVP’s. A couple investigators had some type of unexplained personal experience, see below.

With the claims of activity from the manager, experienced by more than one person, the investigators personal experiences, and the EVP’s, we feel the school has paranormal activity but cannot say it is haunted with just this investigation. We recommend a follow up investigation to see if we can duplicate some of the results of this investigation along with finding more evidence of activity.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:

Ed:

My experiences consisted of a thump noise in the stairs on the right side of the stage, heard what sounded like a couple footsteps in the attic while dong an EVP session, and heard a conversation outside the cafeteria in the hallway while investigating the dining area, no one was in the hallway of close to it.

Gretchen:

While at base heard a bang which seemed to come from the room behind us.  Also heard what sounded like someone walking on the gravel, Lisa looked and saw that no one was walking on the front walk.

While I was walking up the stairs from the side next to the American flag I felt as if I were going to be stopped by someone and told I could not come on the stage.  But no one was there.

Did get itchy feeling on stage.

Got the feeling upstairs in the projection room that a caretaker hangs around there and is serious about keeping kids from being up there.

Heard voices that seem to come from the hallway while we were in the cafeteria Ed heard them to. We verified with base that it was not our group.  No people were outside either.

Came out of the handicap bathroom, and I heard a “hello” as I passed though the double doorway torward the auditorium.  Unfortunately I was alone.  Sounded like a child.

Laurie:

Findings

Below are some of the EVP’s we recorded from the investigation.  Since some of the EVP’s are faint we recommend turning up the sound and listening with headphones. What we hear in the EVP’s is listed below.

What we hear:

  1. High pitched squeak/chirp noise.
  2. “No” end of clip
