Cameras: One Rebel digital camera and Four IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR.

EMF Meters: Cell Sensor cellular phone/EMF detection meter, Electro Sensor EMF
Meter, and K-II Meter.

Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder and an Olympus D-10 digital voice
recorder and Olympus VN-4100PC.

Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega
HH68K ambient thermometer.

Special Notes – While setting up for investigation and before investigation officially began – The lights in the display windows came on all of the sudden without anyone turning the lights on by the switch. The lights going on and off have been one of the claims of paranormal activity in the store by the owner. The team went and checked the lights because they had been turned off before this happened. They noted there was a timer on the lights switch but the timer was not set to turn on the lights at this time.

1st Part of the Investigation began at 10:12 pm, with team 1 and guests:
Team 1 and guest – Beth, Corey, Patrick & Mary

1. 10:12 pm – Starting in the basement of Timeless Treasures – Normal EMF and temperature readings – Temp 73 degrees, and .05 EMF
2. 10:18 pm – Start EVP session – Basement. EVP Session – Ends at 10:25 pm.
3. 10:31 pm – Moved to upstairs of store – Normal EMF and temperature readings – Temp 72 degrees, and .05 EMF
4. 10:39 pm – Center of the room by the mock fireplace – K2 and Cell Censor communications. Team tried to debunk the high EMF, and communication like reactions with the cell censor, but have not been able to do so yet. Reason to re-investigate this area.
5. 10:44 pm – Start EVP Session – upstairs in front of store – Ends at 10:54 pm.
6. 11:12 pm – End of investigation – Team 1

Team 2 – Ed, Christine, Kari & Cassandra

1. 11:25 pm – Team started upstairs. Normal EMF and Temperature readings again
2. 11:40 pm – Team heard a tink noise in the back of the store near some dishes on a shelf.
3. 11:44 pm – Confirmed high EMF readings in the same area. Begin EVP session – End EVP session 11:53 pm.
4. 12:00 am – Went to the basement of store to investigate – normal EMF and Temperature readings again.
5. 12:09 am – Begin EVP session in Crawl Space – End EVP session 12:17 am.
6. 12:20 am End of investigation – Team 2

2nd Part of the Investigation began at 1:09 am, with team 1 and guests:
Team 1 and guest – Beth, Corey, Mary & Kaitlin

1. 1:15 am – Cell Sensor Flashing. Clanking or tinkling noise could be heard toward back door of upstairs, but was debunked by the possible vibration movement of people walking on the floor.
2. 1:20 am – EVP Session Begins, EVP Session Ends at 1:28 am

Team 2 and guests – Ed, Cassandra, Christine & Mary

1. 1:54 am – Team 2 went upstairs
2. 2:06 am – EVP session Begins, EVP Session Ends at 2:24 am
3. 2:25 am – EVP session in book area Begins, EVP Session Ends at 2:39 am.

Timeless Treasures Report
Corey McHargue

I really enjoyed investigating at Timeless Treasures in Lawrenceville. The place was quaint and quiet and a good place to really observe.

My group (me, Patrick, Beth, and Mary) started in the basement. We noticed a base EMF reading of about 1.0 and attributed this to the wiring that was throughout the basement. We noticed some places with EMF spikes, but again attributed this to a higher concentration of wiring and electricity. Overall the feeling in the basement was benign. It was quiet and I did not get any unsettled feelings. We conducted an EVP session near the tri-cycle where Beth felt pulled. During the session we did not feel or hear anything out of the ordinary (other than a roach munching on something… yuck). Due to these benign feelings we chose to move upstairs where Beth was feeling drawn.

The upstairs of Timeless Treasures is the main area where most of the business takes place. It had a much different feeling than the basement. It was heavier and the air felt a little tenser. We began by metering the area and checking the temperature averages. We all noticed several EMF spikes around different book shelves and realized the metals in some of them were conductors. There was one area in particular that drew everyone’s attention. A small area of negative space surrounded by a display in the middle of the room showed VERY high EMF readings. EMF detectors (both the Cell Sensor and the one Patrick was using) showed extremely high readings. Temperature stayed the same. We worked really hard to try to figure out what was causing the spikes but were unable to determine their source. We started and EVP session and began asking questions. We also used the K2 meter. On five different occasions we got was appeared to be responses using the K2 meter. We would ask to light the meter up and it would. This got us all excited and this little area continued to be an area of interest for us. We explored the rest of the upstairs area, and though we continued to feel the change in the air, we did not see or hear anything out of the ordinary.

The final area we explored was the crawl space in the basement. This area was behind a wooden door in the wall toward the front of the building. Again, as the basement the previous time, the feelings in the basement and crawl space were benign. We conducted an EVP session but did not have any experiences out of the ordinary.

The next time I went in was with Beth, Mary, and the owner’s daughter Kaitlyn. We started upstairs and conducted several EVP sessions. We tried to use the dolls and the rocking chair as trigger objects but were unable to get any responses. The overall feeling upstairs was different this time around. The feelings were benign and I felt that whatever was with us was gone. We checked that area that we received the high EMF readings before and continued to get these high readings. But we were once again unable to determine what was causing these EMF spikes.

Overall I did not have any personal experiences at Timeless Treasures. The high EMF spikes in the upstairs area intrigued me, but I am not sure that anything paranormal was causing this to happen.

Sensitive Report – Timeless Treasures
Christine Riley:

Just a bit of what I thought I may have sensed going on there. Upstairs: I felt that there is a little girl there, roughly 5 -6 years in age, 6 being more prominent in my head. I feel like her name may be Rachael or a name starting with an R. I also feel as if there is an old lady there, maybe about 74 in age, and that she was a mammy type figure at one time. I feel as if she and the girl are together and the old lady watches the child like a guardian would. I believe they found each other after they died. I believe that they primarily stay upstairs. Downstairs: I felt as if there was a male presence about the age of 45 in the basement, a worker of some sort. I see him cutting wood, shoveling coal and digging a ditch. Anyway, that is my take on my sensitive side.

Findings:

We were asked to investigate the claims of possible paranormal activity at Timeless Treasures. We tried to find the reasons why objects had flew off the shelves, why the rocking chair moved on it’s own, and why the lights came on and went off by themselves by walking and jumping on the floor, positioning the objects at various areas on the shelf, we tried the same approach with the rocking chair and moving it to different areas of the floor with negative results also. We check the wiring and switches with the lamps and all seemed to be working properly. We were unable to come up with any reason why those things occurred. However while setting up the equipment the lights in the display windows in the front of the store came on by themselves. We had witnessed the store owner turning them off and two other investigators witnessed them coming on and no one was at the switch to turn them on. The owner did go back and turned the switch to the off position to turn the lights off again.

Upon reviewing the data we did have several EVP’s but nothing on the video or still pictures. Along with the EVP’s, stories told by the client, and a few unexplained personal experiences of the investigators I feel that there is activity in the store that needs to be explored further. I also feel that the store is haunted and recommend follow up investigations. We look forward to investigating this wonderful place and working with the owners again in the neat future!
